So, I rather like the new Army physical fitness program. It focuses more on the things soldiers will need in combat, as opposed to just "sticking to tradition", when it doesn't work. The new system prepares soldiers to exert themselves, by properly stretching dynamically, instead of the static stretches, which are better suited to the recovery/stretch phase.
A lot of soldiers have been resistant to the idea, but the Army is changing. There are some ways in which these changes have not been good, but I don't feel this is one of them.
