Last night we saw the Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. It also did not disappoint! The musical numbers were fantastic, and the emotion in the perfomance was tangible.
The Phantom came across just as he was supposed to: tortured, pitiable, and in love. Christine was just as tortured of course, and her voice as beautiful as anyone could have wanted.
It had been so long since I had seen a musical or play, so I had also forgotten why I like them. Because it is such a large production, and there are far fewer people, everyone is extremely talented! They have to be, to pull their own weight.
All in all, Phantom of the Opera is a must see in Vegas
